A new force in executive search and talent solutions for financial services
06/08/2025
We are delighted to announce the formation of Oxley Churchill, a newly launched business born from the merger of Oxley & Partners and Churchill Executive Search. This exciting partnership brings together two well-established names in executive search to create a compelling new offering for clients across the financial services sector.
Backed by years of experience and a shared vision for excellence, Oxley Churchill will provide specialist talent solutions across investment banking, wealth management, asset management, and the broader world of banks and finance providers. Oxley Churchill will also support specialist financial services businesses with insight-led talent acquisition, talent mapping, and leadership consulting services.
“As Churchill Executive Search enters its 20th year it has become progressively focused on supporting Financial Services businesses and in seeking to further develop our services to clients in that sector, we are pleased to announce we are merging our FS activities with Oxley & Partners, a leading executive recruiter for Wealth Management and Private Banking organisations. Bringing the two teams together in a new business , Oxley Churchill Limited, creates a strong new offering in the FS market, that sits neatly in the wider Henley Insights Group.”
– Richard Boot, Chairman, Henley Insights Group
Oxley Churchill brings together the distinctive strengths of both firms – Churchill’s deep research capabilities and extensive network, and Oxley’s evidence-based, human-centric approach to understanding leadership and high-performing cultures. The merger is a natural alignment of complementary philosophies, capabilities, and ambitions.
“When the idea to merge Oxley & Partners with Churchill Executive Search arose, it made complete sense from a business standpoint. But what truly made it happen was the alignment in thinking, the shared drive, and the belief in what could be developed for our clients. At Oxley & Partners, I have always focused on more than just filling roles. My approach strives to blend deep sector knowledge with business psychology to create an evidence-based understanding of how people lead, what motivates them, and how they align within complex, high-performing cultures.
The creation of Oxley Churchill brings that human-centric philosophy together with Churchill’s outstanding research capability, influential network, and the strategic leadership of figures like Richard Boot OBE. But this is not just about combining strengths, it is about raising the bar. As part of the Henley Insights Group, we are building something genuinely distinctive: an advisory business to the Wealth and Banking sectors that integrates executive search, market intelligence, compensation benchmarking, talent assessment and leadership development.
Our aim is to deliver insight-led, strategically aligned, evidence-based talent solutions that drive long-term value. Because ultimately, the most critical asset in any business is not technology or process, it’s people. So, helping our clients get that right is where we believe the real difference is made.”
– Chris Oxley, Managing Director, Oxley Churchill
“Having worked in the FS and international banking market for 15 years with Churchill Executive Search, bringing together the experiences of Churchill and Oxley will enhance our senior & executive search offering to two key markets. As part of that merge, I am pleased to step into the role of NED to continue advising our clients on their talent needs, working alongside Chris and the wider Henley Insights Group team.
– Paul Knight, NED, Oxley Churchill
